Top 5 Most Rewatchable Disney Movies

Let me just start by saying this is 100% opinionated and the list that I made was based off of the highest number of times that I have watched the films. This is in no means a list that shows the best movies but rather some films which I found very easy to re-watch. Another point to make is that I decided to lean towards the ‘disney princess’ movies rather than disney movies as a whole. So let’s get into it 😀

5. Hercules

Who doesn’t love a little bit of Greek mythology? Not only is the movie itself great! But the soundtrack really hits the spot as well. We have to give credit to the Muses that sang the songs with their amazing voices. And, the more you watch, the more you realize the true comedy that lies beneath; Hades (the blue figure on fire in the back) is quite the comedian.

4. Tarzan

Now, this one may be a bit debatable and many either don’t know it, didn’t watch it or just didn’t like it. I have to admit, it was the soundtrack that really did it for me. Whoever let Phil Collins make the soundtrack for this movie deserves a raise, because without it, I’m afraid the movie would be no good. Why is this movie 4th on my list you say? Well for me I really did enjoy the movie but it’s the fact that every single song was a hit! And I will sing every song with my whole chest every time.

3. Mulan

Do I really need to say much about this one? We finally get an asain ‘princess’ representation. Yes there’s also Pocahontas but in Mulan, we get to see a new story of a strong woman who wants to protect her family by going to war in place of her father. Not to forget about Mushu, the beloved comedic, ancestral dragon that helps Mulan on her journey and OH! Shang, the love interest and the one who sang ‘I’ll Make a Man Out of You’ (in my opinion, one of the best songs in the film).

2. Alice in Wonderland (Live Action)

I may be a bit biased when I say ‘live action’ because, not only do I absolutely adore Tim Burton films, I also love Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway as actors/actresses, so it already started out on a good note. Something about the dark, twisted dream world vibe was so intriguing to watch. The visuals, the plot, the characters, the concept; everything was perfect in my eyes. It made me want to fall into a rabbit hole and be in a world of crazy magic just like Alice…. No? Just me?

1. Tangled

I don’t know what it is about this movie but it just radiates comfort for me. It is such a lighthearted and easy movie to watch. The songs are great, the movie itself is so adorable- like who wouldn’t love to see a heartwarming re-uniting. Also, just look at Flynn Rider! (or should I say Eugene).
