4 Places for Brunch in Toronto

Happy Feb 25th #NationalPancakesDay! Here are some places to hit up for delicious brunch~

Sisters & Co

887 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON

This place is absolutely a super super cute brunch hidden gem! They are famous for their light and fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with rich earl grey mascarpone cream! The pancakes are also served with fresh strawberry slices and sauce which adds another layer of amazing flavour. The citrus waffle we also loved as well~ the fresh citrus mascarpone well contrasted the taste of the house-made blueberry sauce, both paired the thick waffles amazingly. It’s a beautiful brunch spot that you just have to check out!

This place is my friend’s top top TOP favourite brunch place ever! I’ve been wanting to go try their food for a really long time now, but I still haven’t gotten the chance to. This place is just fantastic when it comes to both the food and the atmosphere. Especially their signature plate of pancakes, and the krispy and krunchy french toast are just to-die-for. Their pancakes are fluffy and topped with all the delicious toppings like fresh fruits, maple syrup, whipped cream and more. As well, their portion are really big, so you will definitely be stuffed after this brunch meal.

It’s served on top of a steel skillet with a base of warm and delicious tomato sauce with running egg yolks, and with humus and white bread on the side to dip with. The cafe is beautifully decorated inside and their great variety of breakfast, lunch and even dessert menu definitely will have something for everyone’s taste!

Denny’s

 121 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M5G 1C4

I think Denny’s is probably a widely known spot that we’ve all been to at least once. It has a location that is super close to the Ryerson campus if you’re craving some brunch. Especially remember to bring your student ID with you to go on WEDNESDAYS! Denny’s has recently launched a new promotion offer of 20% entire purchase for Ryerson students all-day every Wednesday. They have a range of breakfast plates, pancakes, waffles, breakfast poutine, and even crepes too. I got the Build Your Own omelette, and it was a huge plate of 3 eggs omelette with all of my favourite toppings, hash browns, and 2 pieces of grilled toast. The portion is super stomach-filling too.
