  Like most Torontonians in February, I’m sick of winter. The wind is biting, the ice is life-threatening, and the TTC is late. (Although, let’s be real, that happens regardless of the season.) FYRE Festival

Social media plays a massive role in the way that we perceive things and it impacts the trust we have for people. Fyre festival was a festival that was introduced to the world in 2017, Billy Mcfarland wanted to recreate Coachella. He wanted a celebrity based music festival that would attract the public into wanting to attend. This festival was supposed to take place on two weekends in the Bahamas, festival goers were promised high quality food, luxury huts on white sand beaches, exclusive flights and proper luggage care. Are you a broke university student who’s feeling stressed because of school and need to have a little fun? Well I got just the thing for you. If you think the non-profit organization, TIFF only runs the major Toronto International Film Festival every year, only to hibernate the rest of the year; you’ve joined my mother on the list of people who think TIFF doesn’t run after the festival. Toronto Light Festival

The Toronto Light Festival is back, for its third year in a row, at the Distillery District. With contributions from over twenty-two local and international artists, there’s so much to see. While some displays are there for aesthetic purposes, making it great for photos, others are actually informal. One educational installation to look out for, is the giant 35-foot tall polar bear. Entitled “Longview” by Don Kennell, this structure is constructed out of car hoods, representing how the carbon footprint affects habitats. Pursuit OCR: A New Outing For You and Your Friends

Are you dying to get out of the house and be active? Or dying to stay in where it’s warm? Either way, Pursuit OCR is the place that will get your heart racing and get your temperature up!
