How creative can you get with bubble tea? Answer Tea transform a simple bubble tea into a cute piece of art that’s way too adorable to drink. They have a special design printer that allow us to upload our favourite photo, and get it directly printed right on our bubble tea! It was super super cool as I watch them printing the design on top of a thick layer of cheese foam. My friend printed her dog photo and I printed out the cute We Bare Bears on mine. Answer tea is probably one of the most adorable bubble tea spots I found in Toronto, with their tiffany blue themed flower wall and decor. Definitely an insta-worthy café to check out near the Kensington Market.

Machi Machi is the definition of an insta-worthy bubble tea spot. In the first few weeks that it opened, I heard that it takes hours to line-up to just buy bubble tea. I finally finally got to try out this super super popular Taiwanese tea shop a couple months after their grand-opening. It is the CUTEST place ever to take pictures with your friends, with cute hand-drawn like drawings and writing all over the shop. Aside from their instagrammable interiors, their bottled drinks are also awesome drinks to snap a pic with. I just got cream brûlée tea latte, which had a thick torched layer of caramelized “custard-like” cream cheese on top of the milky black latte.

1011 SIP TEA
635 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6G 1K8
There’s like a street full of bubble tea places near Bathurst and Christie Station. This 1011 Sip Tea shop especially stood out to me as I walked down. Not only is it a newly opened bubble tea place, but also super unique in its specialized toppings, and four types of cheese cream flavours! The decor inside the place was definitely photo-worthy, they have 3 different types of neon signs, such as “Keep Calm and Sip Tea”, cute space astronaut and more. My friend got their honey lime tea with chia seed, and being a taro lover myself, I just had to try their real taro fresh milk drink. I LOVED IT, it was added with real mashed taro, milk and their speciality taro balls (made freshly with a mix of sweet potato and taro). Even though my friend’s drink was prettier than mine with its beautiful gradient layers of colours and chia seed, I still loved mine’s taste way more hehehee 🙂
