Programming changes for The Global City

Regular programming will be cancelled according to the schedule below to make room for the rehearsal and execution of The Global City, one of this year’s practicum projects.

Monday, November 12th 8am – 7 pm
Tuesday, November 13th 9am – 9 pm
Monday, November 19th 8am – 9 pm
Tuesday, November 20th 8 am- 9 pm

A number of shows that regularly air in these blocks will be rescheduled. Stay tuned for updates posted here to find out when to catch them!


Get your music on SPIRITlive

Spirit is looking for campus and local bands to contribute music to our rotation. Are you in a band? Know a band? Love a band? Send your music and info to or We get plenty of new releases in the mail from promoters and labels, but always love to feature local acts that are connected to our station and campus. We’ll put it on the air!

What’s this? A new SPIRITlive website?!

Yes folks, the new SPIRITlive website has finally arrived, just in time for the upcoming Fall 2012 programming season!  If you’re interested in getting involved, hosting a show, or applying for a staff position with the station, be sure to check back here soon.  Applications for new shows and student workstudy positions will be accepted starting mid-September.  Details to follow!

The 181 is a show about music. Featuring a wide variety of genres (most prominently indie electronic) the show will include discussions and analyses of the music played, as well as news about upcoming albums and concerts, and subsequent reviews.
